Decided to head to Borth and make use of the NE wind. When I arrived Al and another were out already making use of the early tide. I qickly riged my 6.6 as Al looked as though he was stuggeling on his 6.3. Al actually came in to go Kitesurfing. The wind picked up again as i was rigging and I was planing the minute I launched. The sailed worked well on the Style considering the two cams. It can be siled with an upright stance which suites the board. I takes a bit of gettin used to when you gybe though as the power is always on. The current was rather strong as one got closer to the mouth. It was a struggle to stay upwind with such a strong current even when fully powered. The wind kicked up a knotch and i tried to hold on as I thought it would drop, plus my hands were so cold i did not think I could rigg another sail. I eventually changed down to my 5.0 and had another couple of really good runs. Soon the tide was really running and we started to run out of deep water, plus my hands were just too cold to hang on. I returned to the car and stood chatting to Al until I had warmed up enough to de-Rig. A bit of a fustrating day with the cold and current but hell it was good fun to be out in the sun.
